I'm hoping I can fix these up by cutting a V shaped notch in the back, sewing it shut, and refelting. If not, I'm just going to use them as potholders.
Perhaps this is a sign that I should just stop procrastinating and sew up my Rogue.

that's really quizzical. are they still wearable?
i did some serious football knitting this weekend, but i actually kinda hate most football games. but the only day off the bf and i have in common is sunday, so i have to suck it up and watch. at least knitting makes it slightly more palatable.
That's actually what really scares me about socks. What if they just come out like two completely different socks? I know they will this first time, as I want to try different methods, but what if next time I don't intend them to be different? I'm totally that fussy person who must have things on each foot feel exactly the same - as in I must tie and retie my shoelaces until they feel even. Oy.
Well I'm not terribly surprized, I've found with felting you really never know how it's going to turn out! I've had so many bagd really wig out on me after felting.
These are exactly what I am looking for to make for my grandfather! I love them, where oh where did you find the pattern or could you send it to me? I have googled my google off and can not find one.
