Thank You

I’ve been trying to figure out what to write here on the blog and I’m just not sure what to say except thank you all so much for the love and support through this difficult time. I just cant tell you how much it means to me to feel surrounded by such caring people and even though I haven’t been emailing I’ve read every one of your comments over and over again.

Juan and I are doing ok, he took a short leave of absence from work so that we could be together, and we’re planning a trip to France just to get away for a while. This experience is by far the most difficult one either of us has had to go through, and we’re muddling through the best we can. I think it’s going to help me to get back to some of my normal activities, so I’m going to try to return to posting regularly on the blog.

I just want to say thank you again to everyone out there commenting or emailing or just keeping us in your thoughts and prayers.

Beth

Hey Beth, it's so good to hear from you. You've been in my thoughts a lot over the last few weeks and will continue to be, whther you're posting or not. I hope your trip is a breath of fresh air for you and Juan--a time to make room for the grief and let it move around a little bit. Not to let go of it, of course--but to let it find its way into the place that it's going to have in your life, and to let some peace in too.

I hope France is a kind space. Cheese is always good, I find (and the French, they have the cheese thing down). Knitting too.

I've been thinking about you a lot, too. It's good to hear from you, and that you're doing your best to cope--France DOES sound like an excellent place to do that. Change of scene and all that . . . be well.

Like everyone said, it's good to hear from you. I tried to comment on your previous post to tell you how sorry I am, but for some reason it wouldn't go through. I have kept you in my prayers since I read about your loss. Have a good trip to France - it'll be nice to get away for a while, I'm sure.
